About Dr. Willekes
Dr. Willekes obtained his Medical Degree from University of Iowa in 1996, graduating with AOA distinction. He then completed five years of general surgery training in Morristown, New Jersey, followed by two years of training in cardiothoracic surgery at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.
He is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and maintains active medical licensure in the state of Michigan, New Jersey, and New York. He performs all general thoracic surgery, specializing in thoracic oncology.
Dedicated Staff
Rachel is our office manager and she understands the unique needs of thoracic surgery patients. Many thoracic problems are very serious and may seem overwhelming to patients and their families. We are here to provide guidance and assistance and can often see the patients within 24 to 48 hours of contact with our office.
